Resurrection’ Rotten Tomatoes Review
By all accounts, the 2012 horror piece “Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection” was not a good movie, but is this a case where comparison to a classic (“Night of the Living Dead”) is hurting it? Felix Vasquez Jr. of Cinema Crazed doesn’t seem to think so.
“Director James Plumbs’ zombie picture is yet another terrible and dunderheaded indie zombie film that fails to re-think the sub-genre.”
The full review can be read here. Based on audience reviews, it received 5% positive reviews.

It’s October! Time to Watch Horror Movies Online
It’s finally October, which means HALLOWEEN! Everyone wants the perfect Halloween costume, sometimes it takes days, weeks or months to put it together. It’s a shame to only celebrate such a fun holiday on just the last night of the month. That’s why Tubi TV is presenting 31 Days of Horror. During the month of October, we are going to highlight our best horror movies from every genre you can think of. Do you like zombies and vampires? We got you. You like slashers? No problem. Do you like cheesy, B-movies with questionable acting and copious gore? Look no further. To kick off the month, here are 5 recommendations for the horror lover in you!
1. Nightmares in Red, White, and Blue
You cannot call yourself a TRUE horror fanatic if you haven’t seen this documentary because chances are you’ve at the very least heard of most of the 150 movies profiled in Nightmares in Red, White, and Blue. Spanning every genre of horror from early monster movies to zombie apocalypse to blood and guts slasher flicks, it not only looks at the cinematic impact of each film, but also the political, cultural, and economic factors that contributed to each of these classics. Narrated by Lance Henriksen and including interviews from horror legends like George A. Romero, John Carpenter, and Joe Dante, Nightmares in Red, White, and Blue provides fans with a comprehensive study of America’s most prolific genre. If you don’t believe us, look at its nearly unheard of 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
2. Nosferatu
Even if you don’t like horror or vampires, you’ve probably heard of Nosferatu at some point in your life, especially if you like to drink. Based directly off of the classic novel, Dracula, Nosferatu is the grandfather of all vampire movies (real vampire movies, not like Twilight or The Vampire Diaries). It was so directly similar to Dracula that Bram Stoker’s heirs actually went to court to try to suppress the release of the film. They succeeded in destroying all but one copy of the film, which went on the be classic it is today. The silent film was finally released in 1922, and is German Expressionalist horror depicting the story of Count Orlok, a vampire who brings a plague to the fictional town of Wisburg, Germany.
3. I’m Not Jesus Mommy
In the same vein as Rosemary’s Baby and The Omen, I’m Not Jesus Mommy (yes, the comma is actually missing from the official title) is the classic tale of the Antichrist coming to Earth as a child to bring the end of days, only this film gives a 21st century twist. Desperate to have her own baby, Kimberly, a fertility specialist steals a cloned embryo. Everything is fine until her son, David, turns 7 years old. After that, the world falls into turmoil, all of which emanates from David himself. David is obviously no Damien (the one bore of a jackal), but if you’re looking for some religious scares, try this film out.
4. The Coffin
The Coffin is a terrifying sci-fi thriller inspired by the true Thai ritual of lying in coffins to get rid of bad luck and prolong life. The film surrounds a young engaged woman who travels to Thailand to perform this ritual in hopes of curing her lung cancer and a skeptical man who tries out the custom to save his beloved wife. Of course, none of this goes to plan, and both are then haunted by hallucinations of those who have passed on before. With the tagline “Tempt Fate. Cheap Death”, The Coffin is every claustrophobic person’s worst nightmare brought to film.
5. When Death Calls
Starring renowned scream queens, Suzi Lorraine and Tina Krause, When Death Calls is a smorgasbord of horror genres served up in a bloody mess of B-movie glory. Set on Halloween night, an elementary school teacher is being stalked by a mysterious caller. Meanwhile, sexy DJ Roxy Richards is making her scariest broadcast yet, but she has no idea just how horrifying it’s going to become. Crafted by filmmaker Jim Haggerty, When Death Calls is not going to win any acclamations, but it is definitely destined to find a cult following among horror fans.
So, there are just a few of our recommendations to get you through the next 31 Days of Horror. Also, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (@tubitv) for even more updates and recommendations.

Love to Watch Reality TV Shows Online? Tubi TV’s Top 5 Reality TV Shows from the UK and Australia
Whether you see reality television as a great guilty pleasure or the complete downfall of entertainment, there is no denying that this genre of television is here to stay. The reality television trend started in America with shows such as The Real World, American Idol, and Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but it didn’t take long for it spread to hundreds of other countries. I’m still not sure if this is something they can thank Americans for or not, but if you’re a big fan of American reality television, branch out and sink your teeth into some new programs from the UK and Australia.
1. Being Lara Bingle
Aussie model, presenter, brand ambassador, and one of the most googled names in Australia are just a few terms to describe Lara Bingle. Being Lara Bingle premiered in 2011, and the show follows the life and career of Lara, from trying to break into the American entertainment scene to dealing with the death of her father. While the show may have her name sake, it’s worth noting that the eccentric cast of characters in her life really take it to another level. You can watch the entire season of Being Lara Bingle online for free below:
2. Nanny 911
Granted, Nanny 911 did air in America, but it wouldn’t be a thing without the no-nonsense, British nannies Deb, Yvonne, and Stella. These nannies are so good at what they do that one of them even served for the royal family, so it’s definitely good enough for unruly kids in America. Each episode features a different family from various cities in the US who have lost complete and total control of their children. Deb, Yvonne, and Stella are brought in as last resort for families who need help turning their household tyrants back into little angels. Watch Nanny 911 online for free below:
3. Edwardian Farm
From the makers of Victorian Farm and Victorian Pharmacy comes Edwardian Farm, a reality show that challenges three historians to live a full calendar year under the harsh conditions of those who were alive in Edwardian times. Quick history lesson for those of you who aren’t well-versed in the different eras of British royalty: the Edwardian Era began in 1901 after the death of Queen Victoria, and it lasted up until the beginning of World War I. While it may not be as primitive as medieval times, you do get to see these history buffs make their own clothing, fashion their own iron utensils, and even prepare for harvest. Watch Edwardian Farm online for free below:
4. Serious Explorers: Livingstone
In Serious Explorers: Livingstone, seven young people travel across some of the most remote places in Africa to relive the route of Dr. David Livingstone, a Scottish Congregationalist pioneer and medical missionary. The contestants, who are boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 15 years old, are chosen from all over Britain, and are placed in Africa with a team of adult explorers who guide them and help them through their challenges. Without any spoilers, this particular season of Serious Explorers has some of the most harrowing and traumatic experiences in the show’s history, which caused this season to end abruptly. Find out for yourself, and watch Serious Explorers: Livingstone online for free below:
5. Ladette to Lady
Americans may not exactly know what a ladette means, so according to Urban Dictionary, a ladette is” a young woman who behaves in a confident and noisy way, who drinks alcohol and may enjoy sport or other activities that are traditionally enjoyed by men.” This program hilariously showcases the mishaps that happen when eight raucous young woman are sent to a traditional English finishing school to learn to become proper ladies. The phenomenon doesn’t just stop at English ladettes though. Series four of Ladette to Lady features Australian trouble makers who are sent all the way to England to hopefully change their ways.
