TUBI LAUNCHES LARGEST PREMIUM AD-SUPPORTED VIDEO ON DEMAND SERVICE IN AUSTRALIA

SAN FRANCISCO and SYDNEY, August 28, 2019 – Tubi (www.tubi.tv), the world’s largest ad-supported video on demand (VOD) service, today announced plans to expand its free, premium service to Australia. Launching on September 1, customers in Australia can enjoy the largest free library in the country with an initial offering of nearly 7,000 movies and television series which will rapidly expand in the near future. Titles immediately available on the service will include 3:10 to Yuma, The Blair Witch Project, Kickboxer and Stranger Than Fiction, with additional titles to be made available over the next six months, including Dirty Dancing, The Grudge, Requiem for a Dream, Reservoir Dogs, Saw, Traffic and Young Guns.

Customers in Australia will be able to access Tubi via Telstra TV, Tubi.TV, or through nearly any internet-connected screen including Samsung TV’s, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast and Apple iOS, as well as Android tablets and smartphones. The service will also be available via game consoles, including PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Tubi recently announced record growth in the first half of 2019 with customers watching over 94 million hours of content in May alone. Tubi’s library in the US now has over 15,000 movies and television series – more than 44,000 hours of content available completely free from over 200 content partners including major studios such as Warner Bros., NBCUniversal, MGM, Lionsgate, and others.

The company has surpassed 20 million monthly active users (MAU), and customers watched over 94 million hours of content during May. In addition, Tubi had the single biggest month of revenue in the company’s history.

Earlier this year, Tubi announced it would invest over nine figures in content acquisitions to further grow its already massive content library. Tubi’s library now has over 15,000 movies and television series – more than 44,000 hours of content available completely free to consumers from over 200 content partners including major studios such as Warner Bros., NBCUniversal, MGM, Lionsgate, and others.

SAN FRANCISCO, May 21, 2019 – Tubi (www.tubi.tv), the world’s largest free movie and television service, today announced it has named former senior Viacom advertising executive Peter Graseck as Vice President of East Coast advertising sales. He will lead the New York ad team and work alongside fellow VPs Heather Strofs, West Coast region, and Todd Segall, Midwest region. The three VPs will report to Mark Rotblat, Chief Revenue Officer and manage Tubi’s direct revenue from agencies and brand advertisers.

Graseck’s media career spans a wide variety of advertising and marketing functions; agency media planning at Young & Rubicam, Marketing and Branded Entertainment at NBC Television and NBC Universal, and for the past 12 years at Viacom, he has held leadership roles in Integrated Marketing, Client Strategy, and both general market sales for Comedy Central, Spike, CMT, and TV Land, and direct response sales. Most recently, Graseck was the SVP of Viacom Partner Solutions where he oversaw all direct response accounts across Viacom’s cable networks and digital platforms.

Strofs came to Tubi with over 15 years of sales and leadership experience across the New York, Chicago, and West Coast Markets. She most recently served as Vice President, Ad Sales at The Oprah Winfrey Network where she collaborated with clients to create custom solutions that allowed advertising partners to reach their consumers in a unique and impactful way across linear, digital and social platforms. During her tenure, she brought on launch partners at OWN’s inception and continued to create innovative solutions across the studio, technology, and auto landscapes. Prior to OWN, Strofs worked in New York across the Discovery Inc. portfolio.

Segall joined Tubi from Roku where he was head of sales for their Central Region based out of Chicago and was responsible for building out their sales team and market presence. Prior to joining Roku, Segall was Senior Category Sales Director at AOL where he led the Finance Vertical as well as their mid-market sales team. Previously, Segall held leadership roles with Yahoo and broadcast.com.

The deal for the sitcom starring Charlie Sheen, Shawnee Smith and Daniele Bobadilla was unveiled at a Tubi NewFront reception.

Anger Management had a record-setting debut on FX at the time as the most-watched scripted cable comedy series debut. The deal also brings seasons one and two of animated series One-Punch Man. Season two is currently airing in Japan with new episodes added every week of broadcast. TUBI NOW AVAILABLE ON COX CONTOUR GIVING CUSTOMERS ACCESS TO OVER 12,000 MOVIES AND TELEVISION SERIES COMPLETELY FREE

World’s largest free movie and TV service becomes the latest streaming app to be added to Contour after Netflix, YouTube, and iHeartRadio

Tubi is now available on over 20 connected devices including Comcast Xfinity X1, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV

SAN FRANCISCO, March 29, 2019 – Tubi (www.tubi.tv), the world’s largest ad-supported video on demand (VOD) service today announced it has launched on Cox Contour giving customers access to over 12,000 movies and television series completely free. With a few clicks of their Contour remote, Cox customers are now able to watch movies such as Up in the Air starring George Clooney and Anna Kendrick and Rango starring Johnny Depp and Isla Fisher, as well as iconic television series such as Xena: Warrior Princess, The A-Team, Major Dad, Dog the Bounty Hunter and Alf. In addition, starting on Monday Contour customers will be able to relive the magic of the first seasons of The Bachelor and The BacheloretteTrista and Ryan’s Wedding Special, and the co-co nuts fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise – all for free.

Tubi’s library has rapidly expanded to more than 12,000 movies and television series which makes its content volume more than double in size to Netflix – and it has approximately 40,000 hours of content. Tubi consistently ranks as one of the most watched apps on the world’s largest platforms including Amazon’s Fire TV, Roku iOS, Android, and many others. Tubi’s partnership with Cox Contour marks their second MVPD deal after Comcast Xfinity X1, and remains the only AVOD (ad-supported video on demand) streaming service with distribution as a standalone app on MVPD devices.
